What happens when you claim your site

You have looked at your site and you want it. Here is exactly what happens next, in order, with no surprises. If anything below does not match what you were told, tell us and we will make it right.

Your site goes live within two business days

The moment you claim, we start moving your site off the preview address and onto a real web address that is yours. That move is finished within two business days. During that window we connect your domain, turn the site on for search engines, and confirm everything loads correctly on a phone and on a computer.

If you already have a domain name, we use it. If you do not, we register one for you and it stays in your name. Either way, nothing you see today gets lost in the move.

When you pay

There is no deposit on a site we already built for you. The one-time build fee and your first month are both due when you go live, and nothing is due before that. Monthly billing continues from your launch date.

On the Authority plan there is no build fee at all, so your first month is the only thing due at launch. Every plan bills month to month from there, and you can cancel anytime.

If you would rather we start over with a fresh direction instead of launching the site you are looking at, that is a different path: tell us about your business on our brief, we design four new versions, and that path starts with a $50 deposit which comes off your build fee.

What we need from you

To finish the move quickly, three things help us most:

Your domain. Tell us the web address you want. If you already own one, we handle the transfer or connect to it where it sits. If you do not, we register one in your name.
Your photos, if you have any. Real photos of your work, your team, or your shop make the site yours. If you do not have any yet, the site still goes live and we add them whenever you are ready.
Your corrections. Read through the site and tell us anything that is off: a wrong hour, a misspelled name, an old phone number. We fix it before we go live.

None of this holds up your launch. We can go live and keep refining after.

Corrections and updates after you go live

Factual corrections to your site are always free and are never counted against anything. Beyond those, every plan includes a set number of small updates each month: 2 on Launch, 5 on Managed, and 10 on Authority. A small update is something like swapping in your photos, adding a staff name, adjusting hours, or a copy tweak. Unused updates do not roll over to the next month. A full custom redesign, meaning a completely new look rather than adjustments to the site we built, adds a flat $250 on top of your plan's standard build fee, and is included free on the Authority plan. Other larger projects, such as new pages, online booking, or additional locations, are quoted in writing before any work begins, typically $150 to $750 depending on scope.

Cancel anytime

All service plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice, with no early-termination fee. Your content is always yours to keep.

If you cancel within the first 30 days, we refund your build fee in full, no questions asked. The site comes down as part of that return, so the refund and keeping the site are one or the other, the way a store return works. The site itself becomes yours free after 12 paid months, or you can buy it out any time sooner for $750 minus the build fee you have already paid.
