Services

AlpineOps provides website design, development, and digital presence management services for local businesses. Our services are provided on a monthly subscription basis as outlined in your service agreement.

Service Agreement

All service plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract. You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice, with no early-termination fee. Specific terms, including pricing and service levels, are outlined in your individual service agreement.

Payment Timing

The one-time build fee is due at signing. Your first monthly payment is due when your site goes live, and monthly billing continues from that date. Plans with no build fee owe nothing at signing; billing simply begins at launch.

When we have already built your site and you are claiming it, there is no deposit. The build fee and your first month are both due when you go live, and nothing is due before that. Starting a new build from our online brief is the other path, and it is the one that carries a $50 deposit.

Updates and Larger Work

Factual corrections to your site are always free, and they are never counted against your monthly updates. A factual correction is anything that makes the site true: a wrong hour, a misspelled name, an old phone number, a service you no longer offer.

Beyond corrections, each plan includes a set number of small updates every month: 2 on Launch, 5 on Managed, and 10 on Authority. A small update is a change of similar size to swapping in a photo, adding a staff member, adjusting hours, or a copy tweak. Unused updates do not roll over to the following month.

A full custom redesign (a completely new visual direction rather than adjustments to the delivered site) adds a flat $250 on top of your plan's standard build fee, waived on the Authority plan. Other larger projects, such as new pages, online booking, or additional locations, are quoted in writing before any work begins, typically $150 to $750 depending on scope.

Refunds and Billing Disputes

Monthly fees cover the month of service ahead. When you cancel, your plan stays active through the end of your notice period and you are not billed again after that.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you cancel within the first 30 days, we refund your build fee in full, no questions asked. Taking the refund and keeping the site are mutually exclusive. When you take the refund, the website retires (comes down) as part of the return, the way a store return works. Your own content is handed back to you free either way.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us within 60 days of the charge and we will review it with you. If we billed you in error, we refund the difference promptly. We would always rather fix a billing problem directly than have you dispute it with your bank, so please reach out first.

Referral Credits and Promotions

When you refer another business and they become a customer, we credit your account $150 once their build fee is paid, and they receive $50 off their build fee. There is no limit to how many businesses you can refer. Credits apply automatically to your future invoices and have no cash value.

Starting a website through our online brief requires a $50 build deposit. It is credited in full toward your build fee, and if you do not love any of the four designs we create for you, we refund it. The remaining build fee and your first month are due when your site goes live.

Our Founding 100 offer gives the first one hundred businesses that become customers $100 credited to your account. The credit is applied at launch, before your first invoice, so in practice it comes off what you owe for your build. Availability is shown live on our site, and the offer ends when the hundredth spot is taken. Build deposits, referral credits, and Founding 100 credits stack.

Intellectual Property

All original content, images, and copy you provide remain your property. Website designs and code created as part of our services are provided for your use under your active subscription.

Site Ownership and Transfer

Your content is always yours, free, no matter what. On any cancellation, your copy, photos, logo, and business information are handed to you at no charge. There is never a fee to receive your own content.

The website itself, meaning its code and build, becomes yours on either of two paths. It transfers to you free after 12 paid months with us. Or you can buy it out any time sooner for $750 minus the build fee you have already paid, since your build fee is credited toward the buyout. Unless you transfer or buy out the site, it retires after your final billing period.

Analytics on Our Own Sites

We record session analytics on our own sites, meaning this site and your AlpineOps account portal, to improve the product and support customers, with everything typed into a form masked and payment details never recorded, because card details are entered directly with Stripe and never reach us.
